Actor Corey Parker, Known for Will & Grace, Dies at 60

Corey Parker, known for his role in Will & Grace, has passed away at the age of 60. He died on March 5 in Memphis after an illness. His representative, Chris Ahuja, confirmed the news to People, sharing that Parker passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Ahuja described him as not only a talented performer but also a supportive and encouraging presence within the acting community.

Colleagues and collaborators often spoke highly of Parker’s kindness, generosity, and dedication to helping others succeed. He had previously shared that he was diagnosed with advanced metastatic cancer following a hip replacement procedure. In a final update on February 17, he explained that the condition was terminal and that he had undergone radiation treatment to ease pain in his arm and hips. While the treatment provided some relief, it also affected his ability to speak and eat.

Born in New York City on July 8, 1965, Parker was the son of actress Rochelle Natalie Parker, which introduced him to the entertainment world at an early age. He began appearing in television commercials as a child and later pursued formal training in the performing arts. He became a member of both the Actors Studio and the Ensemble Studio Theatre, continuing to develop his craft.

Throughout his career, Parker appeared in a range of television series, including Flying Blind, Thirtysomething, and Touched by an Angel. His film credits included Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, Biloxi Blues, and 9½ Weeks. In later years, he worked as an acting coach, guiding aspiring performers. Many of his students credited him with supporting both their professional growth and personal development.
